2024 Year-End Review: A Milestone Year for Boarden Electronics

As 2024 draws to a close, Boarden Electronics reflects on a year filled with both challenges and growth, a journey of bittersweet moments, achievements and regrets, steady progress, and remarkable breakthroughs. All of this has been made possible by our friends, clients, and partners whose trust and support have strengthened every step of our journey. 2024 in Review

This year, Boarden has continued to deepen our presence across multiple fields and build brand influence through consistent effort and collaboration. Let’s take a look back at some highlights from the past year:

Industry Exhibitions

Boarden proudly participated in major industry exhibitions for the eighth consecutive year, including the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition, Electronica China, and Big-Bit Electronics Fairs. These events allowed us to showcase our innovative circuit protection products and solutions, creating new opportunities and energy for the industry.

Media Coverage

Dr. Li, founder of Boarden, was interviewed by Guangdong TV and featured on its general, science, and education channels. Additionally, CCTV programs “Dialogue” and “Made-in-China Power” reported on Boarden’s technical achievements and innovation in the circuit protection sector.

As the first Chinese company to promote high-energy multilayer varistors (MLVs) on a large scale, Boarden has established itself as a leader in the lighting industry’s circuit protection segment, earning market recognition with its professionalism and innovation.

Academic Contributions

In 2024, Boarden actively participated in the standardization process of the domestic varistor industry. We contributed to drafting the national standard for passive electronic components used in road vehicles, equivalent to the international AEC-Q200 standard for automotive electronics.

Boarden also took part in the 28th Voltage Dependent Resistor Symposium, the China Electronic Components Association Annual Meeting, and the Circuit Protection Branch Conference, where we delivered technical presentations and exchanged ideas with scholars and experts. These engagements strengthened our role as a driver of innovation in the field of circuit protection.

Successful Fundraising

This year marked a key milestone in Boarden’s corporate development, as we secured our first round of funding from Yida Capital. This strategic investment affirms Boarden’s market value and will accelerate our journey toward commercialization and scale. It also represents a critical step in building a unique, China-based circuit protection company focused on ceramic chip solutions and advancing domestic alternatives in key component technologies.
